Enjoy comprehensive benefits and professional growth opportunities.Job DescriptionSenior Application Developer OverviewThe Senior Application Developer ensures stability, support, and modernization of enterprise applications critical to business operations.Serve as the primary technical owner for legacy systems built on the Microsoft stack.Collaborate with IT leadership, stakeholders, and vendors to maintain and improve application platforms.Balance immediate support needs with long-term modernization goals and system upgrades.Contribute to decisions regarding system architecture, refactoring, and potential replacements.Work in a high-performance environment requiring flexibility and commitment to project deadlines.Opportunity to work on-site in a professional office and dynamic construction environments.Comprehensive benefits package including health, retirement plans, and professional development support.Senior Application Developer Key Responsibilities & DutiesMaintain, troubleshoot, and enhance legacy applications to ensure stability and performance.Analyze and reverse-engineer systems to understand business logic and integrations.Design and implement improvements to application architecture and database design.Write and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.Develop new functionality using C#, .NET, JavaScript, and related technologies.Support IIS-hosted applications, including deployment and configuration.Contribute to modernization efforts, including cloud migration and system upgrades.Document system behavior and dependencies to improve long-term supportability.Collaborate with stakeholders to translate workflows into technical solutions.Senior Application Developer Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.6+ years of experience with Microsoft ecosystem applications (C#, VB.NET, SQL Server).Strong experience with .NET Framework applications and IIS-hosted environments.Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and troubleshooting complex codebases.Preferred experience modernizing legacy applications and migrating to Azure or AWS.Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.Experience with low-code platforms like Mendix or PowerApps is a plus.Ability to work independently and manage technical solutions effectively.
