Deli Clerk - Part Time

River Market Community Co-op is hiring a Part Time Deli Clerk! Experience-based pay ranging from: $18.27 - $19.58 per hour Approximately 18-24 hours/week Must have availability to work weekends. Candidates without availability to work weekends will not be considered. Work for a community-owned grocery store in downtown Stillwater and help support a sustainable local food system. Do you already have experience working as a Deli Clerk? Your experience is rewarded by advanced placement on our starting wage scale. Reports to: Deli Manager Greet and assist customers with placing and picking up orders. Prepare and execute daily production list. Assist with sanitizing and cleaning between customers. Requirements Ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing and reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds Must have weekend and evening availability Must be 18 years old to operate the slicer machine Performs basic arithmetic including counting, addition and subtraction Preferred experience in food service like deli, catering, restaurant Preferred experience serving customers ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS: Must be physically able to occasionally grasp, grip, pull, push, twist, and turn as needed.
