PET/CT Technologist-Chief Apply locations: Nashua, NH Time type: Full time Posted on: Posted 30+ Days Ago Job requisition id: 2024-3109 The Chief PET/CT Technologist oversees daily imaging services, assists management in coordinating operations to ensure high-quality patient care and image quality, maintains equipment performance and safety, and manages costs. Responsibilities include scheduling team members, conducting performance evaluations, and overseeing multi-modalities regardless of licensure. Specific duties include, but are not limited to: Performing clinical scans and ensuring patient safety, with scan times ranging from 60% to 80%. Scheduling and filling shifts as needed. Creating and managing team member schedules, approving timecards, hiring, managing performance, and conducting evaluations. Acting as the primary contact for escalations, liaising with customers, operations, and sales, supporting audits, accreditation activities, and protocol development. Performing other duties as assigned. Position Requirements: Associate's degree and certification in Radiology/Nuclear Medicine or equivalent experience; Bachelor's preferred. Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 5 years of clinical experience. Willingness to work at multiple locations, communicate effectively with staff and physicians, and maintain a positive attitude. CPR Certification. State licensure in supported modalities, if applicable. Valid driver's license, as applicable. For PET services: ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification and PET scanning experience. For PET and Diagnostic CT services: ARRT(N), NMTCB, and ARRT(CT) certifications. Strong customer service, organizational, and multi-tasking skills. Basic computer skills. Approximately 25% local travel may be required. COVID-19 vaccination may be required. Pre-employment background check and drug screening required. Physical Requirements: May include exposure to weather, blood/body fluids, infectious diseases, noise, and travel. Physical activities include sitting, standing, walking, repetitive motions, lifting, stooping, kneeling, crawling, climbing, and balancing.
