Led by experienced physical therapists, our mission is to help patients reclaim their movement and achieve their personal health goals.Work EnvironmentThis role is an onsite position within our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in Staunton. You will collaborate daily with a dynamic team consisting of two seasoned physical therapists and a skilled physical therapist assistant (PTA). The clinic operates Monday through Friday, offering two potential shift options: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, providing a structured yet flexible work environment conducive to professional excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive assessments of patients, establishing specific treatment goals based on individual needs and conditions.Deliver one-on-one therapeutic interventions, ensuring full attention to each patient during their scheduled treatment sessions.Implement evidence-based practices to promote mobility, flexibility, and overall functional capacity through personalized treatment plans.Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities tailored to each patient's recovery.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to create cohesive care plans that address the holistic needs of patients.Monitor patient progress and outcomes through regular evaluations, adapting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, progress, and outcomes in adherence to regulatory standards.Advocate for non-invasive treatments that minimize medication reliance and enhance patients' overall quality of life.Inspire and motivate patients to reach their functional goals through education and support.Patient Population / Client FocusAt Bennett Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation Clinic, our clientele primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and musculoskeletal disorders. This position will provide you with the opportunity to work closely with patients of varying ages and backgrounds, developing tailored treatment approaches that address their physical challenges and promote recovery.QualificationsA Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is a fundamental requirement for this role.An active state licensure as a Physical Therapist is mandatory, ensuring your professional credibility in the field.A strong background in orthopedic outpatient therapy settings is essential, along with a successful track record of patient care.Expertise in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design effective exercise protocols are highly valued.Familiarity with WebPT EMR software will streamline patient management and documentation processes.Preferred ExperienceExperience working with a diverse patient demographic helps in creating relevant and inclusive treatment plans.Additional training or certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques may provide enhanced patient outcomes.Compensation and BenefitsThe compensation for this full-time Physical Therapist position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
