SALT Service Co. is an expanding organization dedicated to delivering efficient and effective solutions to its clientele.A Lead HVAC Installer plays a pivotal role in driving the HVAC team's success and contributes significantly to our business. By working diligently and maximizing our commission structure, you can attain one of the top 5 most lucrative roles within the company. You will report directly to the HVAC Service Manager and collaborate with other HVAC Installers and HVAC Service Techs, taking an active role in leading and training HVAC Apprentices. At SALT, we do not hire seasonally for HVAC; instead, we seek out HVAC experts whom we view as potential leaders and future managers within our growing company.ResponsibilitiesExpertly install replacement systems, ensuring client satisfaction and showcasing superior service and quality.Utilize floor savers and drop cloths to maintain cleanliness and protect clients' homes during installations.Re-check each aspect of an installation using the Installation Excellence Form to prevent callbacks.Explain the installed system to the client, ensuring their complete satisfaction with the work.Prioritize safety, both on the job and while driving, and ensure the assistant installer follows safety guidelines.Maintain a production level as determined by management and the annual plan.Perform full system change-outs in an average of one day or less.Keep the company truck neat and clean, recognizing it as a valuable billboard for the company.Train installation assistants for maximum installation efficiency.Complete installation paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.Adhere to the company Code of Ethics and Team Rules.Perform tasks involving climbing ladders, heavy lifting (50-75 pounds), ladder work, and tight space work.Operate handheld power tools and wear personal protective equipment.Work beyond a 40-hour workweek, up to 12 hours per day, if required.Qualifications4-6 years of HVAC installation experienceHigh School DiplomaValid Driver's LicenseAbility to pass a background check and drug screeningValid EPA and TDLRPhysical RequirementsWork both indoors and outdoors.Exposure to very hot or very cold temperatures.Proximity to hazardous conditions, equipment, and situations.Work with sharp tools and electricity, potentially resulting in cuts or burns.Regular use of safety attire, such as goggles or other protective clothing.Exposure to uncomfortable and distracting noise levels.Work in very bright or inadequate lighting conditions.Ability to climb ladders and work from roofs and scaffolding.Exposure to exposed contaminants and cramped workspaces, such as crawl spaces under floors.ScheduleAvailability to work Monday-Friday anywhere between 7:00AM-3:30pm (or until daily tasks are complete)SalaryCommission basedBenefitsCompetitive compensation and opportunities for performance-based incentives.Structured training programs and mentorship.Health insurance, dental coverage, life insurance, and retirement savings options.Paid holidays and vacation time.Family & friends discount.Gift card giveaways, company-sponsored trips (performance based).Opportunities for career advancement within the company.A positive and inclusive work culture that values your contribution.Open-door policy.Family owned & operated.We are enthusiastic about the prospect of having a skilled and dedicated HVAC Installer join our team, contributing to the ongoing success and growth of SALT.The SALT Family!
