Postdoctoral Researcher - Integrative Genetics and Multi-Omics Data Science

Postdoctoral researcher position within the Precision Genetics group to develop computational and statistical methods for multi-omics data integration, biomarker discovery, and causal gene-disease modeling across large-scale biobank datasets in rare disease research.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable computational pipelines integrating genetics, proteomics, EHR, and biomedical datasets
• Build statistical and causal modeling frameworks using human genetics and perturbation sequencing data
• Analyze biobank-scale datasets and interpret biomarker association signals
• Research and implement cutting-edge methods in statistical genetics and computational biology
• Publish findings and present results to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Statistical Genetics, Computational Biology, or related quantitative field
• Hands-on experience with large-scale biobank datasets (UK Biobank, All of Us, FinnGen, etc.)
• Experience analyzing omics data: WGS, genotyping, transcriptomics, proteomics
• Proficiency in R and/or Python for data analysis and pipeline development
• Applied expertise in GWAS, QTL mapping, polygenic scores, or similar statistical genetics methods
• Cloud computing (AWS) or HPC experience with parallel computing and workflow design
• Publication record in statistical genetics, computational biology, or related fields

Compensation: $82,000-$92,000 base
