As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Services in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a caring team that values being agile, reliable, and innovative, while acting with integrity and putting people first every day.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, lobby, exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report suspicious behavior, unattended items, and/or policy violations.
• Document incidents, daily activities, and/or maintenance or access concerns in required reports, and support a professional presence consistent with Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
