Job Description As a Security Officer Customer Support Patrol in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a professional property management location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.85 / Hour Job Schedule: Wednesday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Thursday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Friday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Saturday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sunday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized behavior and/or policy violations. Monitor access points, observe activity across the location, and communicate clearly with visitors, employees, and/or contractors regarding site expectations. Support day‑to‑day operations by following post orders, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting with security‑related concerns as they arise. Minimum Requirements: Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
