divh2New Account Representative/h2pAt Iowa State Bank, our New Account Rep is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with opening and managing various bank accounts, identifying customer needs to recommend suitable products and services, and ensuring a positive banking experience while adhering to compliance and regulatory guidelines./ppRequirements:/pulliProvides exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assessing customer needs./liliAnswer questions regarding Bank products and services./liliOpens new deposit accounts/liliManages customer portfolio, services relationships and cross sells appropriate products and services to meet customer needs, assuring customer satisfaction, and achieving personal and retail sales goals/liliMakes appropriate customer referrals to other Bank functional areas/liliEffectively handles more complex customer problems and inquiries as well as ensuring that resolution and follow-up are completed in an accurate and timely matter/liliDaily account maintenance with no or limited errors/liliHandle customer transactions including but not limited to: account deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashing checks, check deposit hold, cash advances, stop payments, gift cards, and issue Cashiers Checks/liliAnswers telephone calls to assist customers with questions or requests/liliPerform teller duties (customer service rep)/liliPerform bookkeeping functions including proofing, balancing, and processing of checks and bank tickets/liliMay be asked to travel to other branch locations to assist in new account duties as needed to ensure adequate coverage/li/ulpQualifications:/pulliStrong customer service and communication skills/liliProficiency with software and computer systems/liliExcellent attention to detail and organizational skills/liliAbility to work independently and as part of a team/liliLive in or involved in the Le Mars market/li/ul/div
