Recognized as one of Knoxville's Top 3 Employers in the last 7 years, established law firm is seeking a full time Legal Assistant to provide legal support for our attorneys with significant practices in Labor and Employment Law and various other areas.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00/hr DOE Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision

Requirements:

• 2+ years of prior experience in legal environment is required!
• Experience in Labor and Employment Law
• Experience with area court systems
• Experience filling documents with the courts
• Experience with federal courts
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent keyboard and computer skills
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Microsoft Word
• Microsoft Teams, Zoom
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to multitask
• Must be flexible and able to work well with others

Responsibilities:

• Handling preparation of correspondence, pleadings, discovery and responses, deposition summaries, etc. normally used in the labor and employment practice), Scheduling depositions, mediations, and court reporting
• Maintain client files, time entry, bill processing
• Coordinating calendars and schedules

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $25.00 Per Hour
