Outside Sales Representative

Position Description KeyTrak, a division of Reynolds and Reynolds, is seeking a top sales performer in a competitive market. In this position you will sell our key control solutions to the automotive market in an assigned territory. Your time will be spent growing your customer base while also managing and maintaining customer accounts and relationships. You will be responsible for developing your own leads and will build your client base through sales to new and/or existing accounts within your market. You will prospect potential customers in order to demonstrate the features and benefits of products, present proposals, and close deals. You will receive a base salary of $60,000 and total targeted compensation for the first year is expected to be $85,000/year including commissions. Training Our training consists of time with experienced representatives in the field, online courses completed in your home office, and classroom instruction at Reynolds University, our award-winning internal learning institution in Dayton, Ohio. You will complete ten different courses at Reynolds University throughout your first year. Topics covered will include training on sales techniques, negotiations, dealership operations, and in-depth product training on our Dealership Retail Management System. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 2+ years of outside sales experience Strong closing and negotiating skills Able to lift, carry, and maneuver 70lbs of demonstration equipment to customer sites Goal oriented, coachable, organized and creative Experience in new business sales is preferred Able to travel overnight with hotel stays up to 2-3 night/week Recent cold-calling experience Must have a valid driver’s license, with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years Benefits We strive to offer an environment that provides our associates with the right balance between work and family.
