Senior System Administrator

Serving as the senior technical lead for Windows Endpoint engineering, the full-time Senior System Administrator will manage the architecture, deployment, and support of Windows and Unix/Linux endpoint systems while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure security and compliance. Key responsibilities Administer and maintain Windows and Unix/Linux endpoints, ensuring effective lifecycle management and compliance Develop and implement automation solutions using PowerShell and related technologies to enhance service quality and reduce operational overhead Collaborate with university IT staff and other stakeholders to support endpoint services and resolve complex technical issues Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field and six years of relevant computing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Advanced knowledge of Windows endpoint administration and enterprise endpoint management technologies Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills, with experience in Microsoft Intune and MECM/SCCM Ability to manage large-scale endpoint environments and develop endpoint management strategies Experience in analyzing operational and security data to support data-driven decision-making
