Onboarding Specialist

Hiring Locations: Position may require occasional travel between offices in Springfield NJ and River Edge NJ Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Job Tasks Greet and welcome all visitors with a friendly and professional attitude Help guide new hires through the onboarding process, creating a smooth and positive experience Explain company policies, benefits, and culture during onboarding and orientation Collect, review, and verify applicant documentation in the office to ensure all required paperwork is complete and accurate Partner with internal teams to provide updates on applicants and hiring progress Keep employee records accurate, organized, and up to date Assist with employment verifications in line with state regulations and CAHC standards Help schedule caregivers for internal trainings Maintain and update the ETS database Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and welcoming Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages Prepare onboarding folders and materials for employees and clients Support general office operations and team projects as needed Monitor and restock office supplies, including PPE Assist with additional administrative projects as assigned Job Requirements Experience in onboarding, HR support, or a similar administrative role Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks Friendly, clear communicator with great people skills Ability to stay calm and efficient in a busy environment Experience in home care or healthcare is a plus, but not required Benefits Offered Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) retirement plan Health, Vision, and Dental insurance Paid holidays Summer Fridays Travel & entertainment discounts Employee purchasing programs About The Senior Company Founded in 2018, The Senior Company is a trusted name in personalized, high-quality in-home care throughout New Jersey.
