ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Bertie Hospital located in Windsor, NC are seeking a Board Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide patient care in their Emergency Department. One year of ED provider experience preferred. Highlights include:
- Employment by ECU Health Physicians
- Privileges at ECU Health Bertie Hospital
- Critical Access Hospital inclusive of an 8-bed Emergency Department
- (12) 12 hour shifts (10am -10pm) per month
- No call
- Monthly emergency department census of 950-1,000 patients
- CT Tech in-house 24/7
- Support from nearby hospital, ECU Health Chowan Hospital, in Edenton, NC, a 25 bed critical access hospital with 24-hour hospitalist and radiology coverage
- Strong air and ground support to immediately transfer patients to ECU Health Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center located in Greenville, NC
- Telestroke support
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
