Position Summary

Insight Global is looking for a Customer Service Assistant for our client in Linden, NJ. The Customer Service Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to the Customer Service team, helping ensure the office operates efficiently while delivering a welcoming experience for customers, vendors, and visitors. This is a temporary, part-time position (15 hours per week) designed to provide additional administrative support to the department. The role supports daily office operations while providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Schedule

• Monday & Wednesday: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Friday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally.
• Greet and assist visitors, customers, and vendors entering the office.
• Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries.
• Assist with preparing and shipping packages.
• File and organize paper and electronic documents.
• Maintain organized customer service records and office files.
• Provide general administrative support to the Customer Service team.
• Assist with data entry and other clerical tasks as assigned.
• Perform other administrative duties as needed to support business operations.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of previous administrative, receptionist, or customer service experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused demeanor
