Door Dorks is an established and rapidly growing company in search of our next "Nerd-Level" residential Lead Garage Door Installer . We are looking for a long-term, highly motivated, positive, confident, detail-oriented individual for this job opportunity. 3yrs min experience required .
The Lead Installer is an integral part of Door Dork’s daily operations and ensures that all work performed in the field meets company standards. In addition to installing a variety of residential garage doors and motors, a Lead Installer will also oversee complex jobs, participate in planning meetings, make recommendations for improvement, train new employees and actively work to reduce mistakes and warranty call-backs.
Skills and Requirements:
- Minimum of 3yrs experience installing residential garage doors.
- Able to successfully complete complex garage door installations, including: low headroom, rear/reverse torsion and high lift.
- Knows garage door specifications and how to measure for proper door installation. Able to identify and trouble-shoot any issues that need to be addressed prior to installation.
- Able to build out framing on openings; knowledge of building construction as it relates to garage door and motor installation.
- Able to consistently and effectively lead a job site by setting expectations for team/customer and ensuring, efficiency, safety and quality.
- Strong knowledge of hand and power tools
- No serious violations on DMV record
- Positive attitude and good character
- Friendly customer service skills
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Able to notice things others do not (attention to detail)
