Production Coordinator

Franco Manufacturing Co., Inc. has been a leading international producer of decorative home fashions for over 70 years. Our products include licensed juvenile sheet sets, comforters, pillows, blankets, towels, and home accessories sold to major market retailers, specialty stores, discounters and online outlets. We have an opportunity for an experienced Production Coordinator to join our Sourcing team based at our corporate headquarters in Metuchen, NJ. In this highly visible role, you will support end-to-end product development and production — partnering with internal teams and overseas offices to keep specs, costing, purchase orders, samples, and delivery timelines accurate and on track Key Responsibilities Gather, enter, and maintain specs, patterns, and standards for production and product development Partner with overseas offices to request/confirm costing, production details, and delivery information. Coordinate buy quantities and Special Item Fact Sheets (ticketing, accessories, folding, packaging details) with Planning and cross-functional partners. Create Purchase Orders in BlueCherry system; communicate changes to Planning and ensure system data is current and accurate. Track samples, strike-offs, approvals, and comments; maintain a production sample calendar and follow up with Design and factories as needed. Support reporting and exceptions management (e.g., late POs, cash flow exceptions) and make updates with supervisor approval. Conduct incoming sample checks (weight, size, color, UPC, packaging/put-up, descriptions) to confirm accuracy. Coordinate with Logistics/Imports to provide vendor and PO details, support document resolution, and communicate changes. Handle administrative tasks such as sample shipping/receiving, PO approvals, chargebacks as directed, and Accounts Payable vouchers. Attend regular meetings with internal departments to align timelines, priorities, and status. Qualifications 5+ years of production experience in home, apparel, accessories, or related category. Proficiency using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, filters/sorting, basic formulas)Previous experience working with overseas offices and/or vendors Excellent follow-up, organization, and communication skills Blue Cherry Experience a plus Ability to work on-site in Metuchen, NJ 4 days/week #J-18808-Ljbffr
