Exothermic Molding, Inc. is seeking a talented Production Team Lead to join our team. The Production Team Lead is responsible for packaging products, part assembly, masking, Silk Screen application, drilling operations, and packaging products, and shipment preparation with the use of necessary equipment. The Production Team is also responsible for both in-process inspection and final inspection of products before shipment.  The role reports to the General Manager and Quality Manager. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills over time.  Manage and work with department staff to comply with company production and quality standards, while maintaining good manufacturing practices.

In addition, you will be expected to achieve throughput and quality goals by effectively using documentation, equipment, and labor provided by the company.  The Production Team Lead executes and coordinates a daily inspection and packaging plan created by the Production Scheduler.  It involves reading and following the documents that describe the operations required, while assuring that all the parts comply with inspection and quality standards and as defined in the process documents, shop drawings and first piece sample. It should be noted that employees are given responsibility to read process documents and interpret whether all required operations have been performed per the defined process prior to performing their operation.

Qualified candidates must have a High School diploma or GED Bachelor's degree along with the ability to read and interpret shop drawings, measure, and inspect parts to assure compliance with customer standards. Experience in a leadership role, with the ability to lead a team to achieve goals is preferred.  Must be detail oriented when completing assigned tasks while meeting and/or surpassing production requirements and have strong communication skills.          

Must be physically able and willing to stand for entire work shift to complete assigned tasks and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
