Our employee?owners collaborate across specialties, combining creativity, precision, and deep expertise to solve the most complex challenges facing our clients and communities.In the role of Senior Proposal Manager, we'll count on you to:Support pursuit teams in creating and implementing effective win strategies (capture planning)Facilitate pursuit teams to develop persuasive proposal and interview materialsDevelop and manage proposal schedules and confirm complianceEngage the appropriate marketing services resources in pursuit teamsLead quality reviews of proposal and interview materialsFacilitate debriefs to identify improvement opportunities and to measure overall competitivenessDeconstruct and file proposal and presentation material upon submittalTrain and mentor employees on business development and marketing best practicesArticulate HDR's capabilities and competitive advantagesLead pursuit teams in creating and implementing effective win strategies (capture planning)Engage the appropriate project management and technical talent in pursuit teamsDevelop business relationships with teaming partnersCoach interview teams to be effective at delivering key messages during interview presentationsMaintain a strong understanding of the market trends and drivers impacting our clientsActively participate in professional associations to elevate HDR's brand in target marketsPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related fieldDeep knowledge of the A/E/C industry's standard approach to procurement of professional servicesDemonstrated ability to motivate and inspire othersAbility and desire to travel and engage with others in-personDemonstrated experience in writing compelling content based on information from technical staffRequired Qualifications:A minimum of 8 years relevant industry experienceDemonstrated "self-starter" with a history of completing projects with limited oversightExperience in sales and developing effective win strategiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointProficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesignDeep knowledge of the A/E/C industry's standard approach to procurement of professional servicesDemonstrated ability to motivate and inspire othersDemonstrated experience in winning high-value contracts in the A/E/C industryDemonstrated experience in writing compelling content based on information from technical staffWhat We Believe:HDR is our company.
