Registered Nurse - Field Assessor

Overview We are hiring for a PRN RN Field Assessor to join our team in Walla Walla, WA. As a Registered Nurse Field Assessor (FA), you would complete Long Term Care insurance assessments. These hands-off assessments require you to obtain claimant demographics, physician information, a current medication list, and to evaluate the claimant's functional level of independence. The assessment process includes a brief cognitive screening and evaluating the claimant's ability to complete ADL and IADL tasks. The ideal candidate will be technologically savvy and able to use a point-of-care web application/system on a laptop or tablet in real time for documentation. Responsibilities Complete Long Term Care insurance assessments for claimants. Obtain claimant demographics, physician information, and current medication lists. Evaluate claimant\'s functional level of independence, cognitive status, and ability to perform ADL and IADL tasks. Document findings in a point-of-care web application/system in real time using a laptop or tablet. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice. Current CPR certification. Current driver\'s license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation. Proven ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client. Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years of RN experience. Proven ability to work independently. Proven good communication, writing, and organizational skills. Compensation and Benefits Pay is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to salary, the role may include a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, 401k contribution (subject to eligibility). The hourly pay range is $36.98 to $81.63 per hour based on full-time employment. This position is not eligible for benefits. We comply with all applicable minimum wage laws.
