Front Desk Receptionist - Per Diem

Front Desk Receptionist (Per Diem/On Call) Fairfax Behavioral Health, founded in 1930, is a private, free-standing mental health hospital that specializes in psychiatric and detox treatment. We strive to meet and respond to the needs of our community by offering a continuum of care and evidenced-based programs at multiple locations within our region. We have behavioral health facilities and services located in Kirkland, Everett and Monroe, Washington. Fairfax Behavioral Health is seeking a per diem/on call Front Desk Receptionist at our Kirkland location. This position is responsible for welcoming our guests with a smile, providing quality and efficient service for internal and external customers, answering, routing multiple phone lines and responding to routine questions. Additionally, this position assists with the coordination of patient admissions, discharge process, monitors patients while in lobby, and will be responsible for other related clerical duties as assigned. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Preferred Experience: Two (2) years of experience on a multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in a healthcare environment and any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital environment. Additional Requirements: May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours. Successful completion of Verbal De-Escalation Certification; provided during Fairfax new hire training.
