IT Technician

Our client, an organization dedicated to supporting election processes and technology, is seeking an IT Technician to join their team. As an IT Technician, you will be part of the Election Support Department supporting the IT operations related to voting equipment and desktop support. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Melbourne, FL

Pay Rate: $18.00 hr

Shift: 8:00AM - 4:30PM (overtime and weekends too)

What's the Job?

• Perform skilled professional work installing, maintaining, and supporting voting equipment, desktop computers, and network hardware.
• Provide end-user hardware and software support in a Windows-based environment.
• Conduct quality control testing of voting equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Troubleshoot voting equipment, desktop workstations, and related hardware issues.
• Work long hours and weekends during peak election periods, including onsite support at Early Voting sites if assigned.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of technical computer experience with Windows Operating Systems.
• Minimum of three years of experience with MS Office Suite.
• Minimum of three years of experience with desktop computer installation.
• Must be a registered voter in Florida and possess a valid Florida Driver's License.
