Travel PCU Registered Nurse - $2,158 per week

Remede Consulting Group is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Burlington, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/08/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Qualifications Minimum 2 years of related RN experience required. Previous Charge RN experience preferred. BLS and ACLS required; NIH preferred. Ratios: 1:4 with drips/bipap, otherwise mostly 1:5. EPIC experience preferred. Use of Rapid Response Teams preferred. Comfortable with 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratios and 3x12 nights work schedule (7pm-7:30am) including weekend and holiday rotations. First-time travelers accepted. Required Skills & Responsibilities Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring, pre/post cardiac catheterization, peripheral line care and management, PICC line management, cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration), procedural sedation administration, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, chest tube management, pleural interventions, external CPAP/BIPAP, tracheostomy management. Focus on cardiac patients (congestive heart failure, acute coronary syndrome, arrhythmias, pre and post cardiac catheterization with and without intervention, myocardial infarction, syncope, pacemaker placement) and secondary respiratory conditions (COPD, pneumonia, BIPAP). Nursing care in a 30-private bed Cardiac Medical Progressive Care department operating 24/7 with centralized cardiac monitoring. Job ID: MAY2026-CC11306.
