Details Work in a 38-bed (2810) multi-specialty Intensive Care Unit within a hospital setting 12-hour night shifts (PM shift) for 36 hours per week Every other weekend required Every other holiday required Tele test administered on Day 1 of assignment Requirements Active MA RN license required Current certifications: BLS and ACLS Minimum 2 years of RN ICU experience required Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN, or BSN (BSN preferred) Telemetry experience required with ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips Effective verbal and written communication skills Basic computer proficiency Physical ability to meet job responsibilities Additional Information Deliver nursing care in the ICU including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team members, patients, and families Coordinate and delegate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues Update and manage patient records, entering and interpreting computerized data Follow nursing department guidelines and policies Assist leadership with quality improvement projects as needed Supported by a collaborative and dedicated nursing team Candidates residing less than 50 miles from the facility are considered local First-time travelers may be considered for this position American Traveler Job ID P-740670.
