Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for an Inpatient Pharmacist to support clinical pharmacy services at a 500-bed hospital with specialized units including a 42-bed NICU and a 14-bed Pediatric ICU. The hospital recently transitioned its electronic health record system from Cerner to EPIC, and familiarity with EPIC is highly valued.

Location: Lubbock, TX
Schedule: Nights, 7 days on / 7 days off (Wednesday through Tuesday rotation)
Type: Travel assignment (with potential for permanent placement for candidates interested in relocating)

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services for inpatients
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication use and patient outcomes
• Monitor, review, and verify medication orders
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
• Participate in clinical rounds and medication reconciliation processes

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years’ experience as an inpatient pharmacist preferred
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system highly preferred due to recent system conversion
• Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail in medication management
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
