Registered Nurse Electrophysiology Lab

Schedule

4x10 Days, Monday-Friday, 08:00 - 18:30

Assignment Details

Weekday call every two months from 18:30 - 07:00 and one weekend of call every two months with 24-hour coverage. Call volume is generally low.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Experience with Epic and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab procedures
• Skills in cardiac implant closure device, pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction/removal, arrhythmia induction, cardiac ablation, and cardiac mapping

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Electrophysiology Lab
• Assist in procedures such as cardiac ablation and insertion/programming of AICDs
• Perform conduction studies and cardioversion
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
