This role offers a rare combination of Financial Planning & Analysis and indirect tax ownership. While a portion of the position will support sales and use tax compliance across North America, the majority of the role will focus on forecasting, financial analysis, reporting, and partnering with business leaders to improve performance and drive better business decisions.


You will work closely with the Senior Director of Financial Planning & Operations Analytics and gain visibility across multiple functions of the organization. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys understanding how a business operates, translating data into actionable insights, and taking ownership of important financial processes.

What You'll Do

Financial Planning & Analysis


* Support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes


* Analyze financial performance and key business drivers, identifying risks, opportunities, and emerging trends


* Prepare monthly management reporting packages, variance analyses, and executive-level presentations


* Develop financial models that support operational and strategic decisionmaking


* Partner with business leaders to evaluate performance, improve visibility, and support planning initiatives


* Assist with scenario analysis, profitability assessments, and ad hoc business projects


* Leverage financial and operational data to deliver actionable insights and recommendations


* Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, increase automation, and enhance financial visibility across the organization Indirect Tax & Compliance


* Coordinate U.S. and Canadian sales and use tax compliance activities


* Prepare and review indirect tax filings through Avalara and related systems


* Maintain tax reconciliations, supporting schedules, and journal entries


* Research and resolve tax notices, filing discrepancies, and compliance matters


* Support tax audits and information requests


* Monitor changing regulatory requirements and assist with implementation of related process updates


* Partner with Accounting and Finance teams to strengthen compliance and improve tax-related processes


What We're Looking For


* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline


* Experience in FP&A, financial analysis, accounting, indirect tax, or a combination of these areas


* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities


* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling


* Experience with sales and use tax compliance and tax automation tools such as Avalara is preferred


* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively


* Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial information into meaningful business insights


* A collaborative mindset and desire to work across multiple functions within the organization
