OCO Networking and Internet Product Manager

Location: Columbia, MD Required Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Poly Overview Assured Information Security (AIS) is seeking an OCO Networking and Internet Product Manager to join our Mission Services team. In this role you will define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for cyber mission systems, focusing on cloud networking and internet connectivity in support of OCO. What You'll Do Provide thought leadership and work with key stakeholders to understand requirements, build partnerships, and provide technology solutions for highly reliable and redundant network connectivity. Lead product backlog refinement, ensuring features and capabilities for cloud networking solutions are well defined, prioritized, and decomposed into actionable user stories. Collaborate with other Product Managers, Release Train Engineers, and Scrum Masters to drive Program Increment execution, risk mitigation, and cross-team collaboration for networking-focused projects. Engage with government stakeholders to gather feedback and align capability delivery for virtualized and containerized solutions. Participate in technical exchange meetings (TEMs), operational working groups, and other OCO forums related to cloud networking. Partner with clients to understand business objectives, user behaviors, and product vision; develop product concepts, roadmaps, test plans, and functional specifications for cloud networking solutions. Collaborate with designers and engineers to conceptualize, design, and deliver multi-platform applications with a focus on robust and secure network connectivity. Lead engagements alongside company partners and top designers and technologists in the industry. Education, Experience and Skills Required Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, Computer Science or related field with 12 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience. Experience working with government agencies or contractors in the intelligence or defense sectors. Solid understanding of cloud networking principles, including high‑reliability and redundant internet connectivity. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills; experience with Agile methodologies and cloud services; knowledge of networking technologies such as firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs; familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence). Experience in product development and/or management within a developmental environment, implementing strategies aligned with the OCO PMO’s vision, developing roadmaps, and prioritizing features for cloud networking and connectivity solutions. Facilitate interactions between all stakeholders and actively engage with teams. Proactive, hands‑on leader who takes ownership, engages stakeholders, and supports team needs. Guides and mentors junior staff and collaborates across teams to shape requirements and deliver products on time and within budget. Additional Qualifications SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager or similar Agile certification(s) is desirable. AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or similar networking certifications. CompTIA Network+.
