Job Responsibilities Work effectively with other teacher(s) in the assigned classroom and center Support the social and emotional development of children and use "positive guidance" approaches to dealing with challenging behaviors Encourage the involvement of the families of the children in a Head Start program and support the development of relationships between children and their families Follow all Acelero Learning policies and procedures related to health, safety, nutrition, and other aspects of center operations Job Requirements High School Diploma The commitment and passion for working with children and families Basic computer literacy in email usage, word processing, and internet navigation Effective communication and written skills An eagerness to adopt our values: Embracing Diversity, Teamwork & Community, Data-Informed Learning, Open Communication, and Follow-Through Additional Information This position is all year round, called in as needed during center hours, and earns $15.13 hourly. Freehold Center Locations: Broad Street: 59 Broad Street, Freehold, NJ 07728 Main Street: 81 West Main Street, Freehold, NJ 07728 Center Hours: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm Pre Hire Requirements Two Valid IDs, Two Reference Letters, Physical exams and TB Tests, Fingerprint Screening (CHRI), and Background Checks (CARI) are required for this position. Must have a Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation All new hires must attend the four days (Tuesday - Friday: 9 am to 3 pm) of mandatory New Employee Orientation Training at South Amboy Center - 310 Augusta Street, NJ 08879 upon completion of pre-hire documents.
