The GI Tech I prepares procedure rooms, sets up and tests endoscopy equipment, and ensures proper scope reprocessing and sterilization following strict infection-control standards. This role assists physicians and nurses during procedures, monitors patient comfort and safety, and manages specimens, supplies, and documentation.
