Charge MRI Technologist - Christian Hospital

Full-Time Charge MRI Radiology Technologist (Mid-Day Shift) Location: Christian Hospital, St. Louis, MO. Responsibilities Prepare patients and equipment for procedures. Perform studies independently and in on‑call situations, including portable exams and other sites as required by work area. Oversee shift operations, including daily workflow, assignments, lunch schedules, and adjust priorities to meet departmental needs. Enter/escalate IT and equipment tickets. Serve as the clinical resource and expert for technologists; assist with difficult exams and provide mentoring. Act as the clinical liaison between the team and supervisor, ensuring proper communication of information. Maintain and order necessary supplies for department needs. Requirements (Minimum) Associate degree or equivalent trade school education. Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography – R.T.(R). Minimum of 2 years experience in radiology technologist role. Experience in MRI safety screening and workflow management. Ability to lead workflow, staff scheduling, and training. Preferred Qualifications 5–10 years of experience in radiology, including charge or senior technologist roles. Experience with MRI safety protocols and quality checks. Certification or training in advanced imaging modalities (e.g., CT, IVR). Knowledge of in‑room IT and equipment management.
