Charge MRI Technologist - (3 days per Week) - Day Shift

Job Title and Location Full‑Time Charge MRI Radiology Technologist (Day Shift) at Barnes Jewish Hospital (BJH) Center for Advanced Medicine (St. Louis, MO) Position Details Day Shift: Monday, Thursday, Friday 6 am – 7:30 pm. No call or weekends. 3 days a week. RT(R), MR or equivalent ASRT. Requirements Associate degree or Trade School equivalence (or higher level of education). Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography – R.T.(R) and/or MR (ARRT). Minimum 2 years’ experience. Lead Tech Charge Tech Senior tech Lead Radiology Technologist Supervisor Senior Technologist Radiology Department Lead Chief Technologist Radiology Supervisor RT, Medical Imaging, ARRT, BD, CI, N, VI, ASRT, Radiologic, Radiographer, AMT MR, MRI, magnetic resonance imaging, ARMRIT, MR, MRI Radiographer Responsibilities Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Performs studies independently, in on‑call situations, portable exams, and other sites as required by work area. Oversees shift operations including daily workflow, assignments, lunch schedules, and adjusts priorities and assignments to best meet department needs. Enters/escalates IT and equipment tickets. Serves as the clinical resource and expert for technologists: problem solving, assisting with difficult exams, and mentoring. Serves as the clinical liaison between the team and supervisor, ensuring proper information is communicated and escalated appropriately. Maintains/orders necessary supplies for department needs.
