Join an established Interventional Cardiology service in Springfield, Missouri, providing coverage beginning November 23, 2026, through December 31, 2026, with an ongoing need available.

The provider will support interventional call coverage and hospital-based Cardiology services, including cath lab procedures, inpatient consultations, and rounding. This is an in-house call position with a 1:5 call ratio and a 30-minute response time requirement.

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Provide Interventional Cardiology call coverage
• Provide hospital-based Cardiology coverage
• Perform cath lab procedures
• Evaluate inpatient Cardiology consultations
• Round on inpatient Cardiology patients
• Manage assigned and unassigned patients
• Respond to urgent inpatient Cardiology needs
• Provide approximately 20 phone consultations
• Coordinate care with hospitalists and other healthcare providers
• Document patient care using EPIC

Support & Team

The provider will support the established Interventional Cardiology and hospital teams, providing both interventional call coverage and hospital-based Cardiology services.

The facility will accept multiple providers to share the ongoing coverage need.

• 45 beds in the facility
• Approximately 20 phone consultations
• Clinic volume reported as approximately 1,300 patients per week
• Assigned and unassigned patients
• Hospital Stroke Certified
• Trauma Level I

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible - Required
• Active Missouri License - Required
• IMLC accepted
• ACLS - Required
• BLS - Required
• Ability to provide Interventional Cardiology call coverage
• Ability to perform cath lab procedures
• Ability to provide inpatient consultation and rounding
• Ability to respond within 30 minutes while on call

Credentialing

An active Missouri medical license is required.

The facility accepts IMLC physicians.

Board Certification or Board Eligibility is accepted.
