A day in the life of a Sales Representative Ablation involves the development of the ablation portfolio with a special focus on the growth and market development of the therapy areas Bone Ablation and Soft Tissue Ablation. The role focuses on increasing the perception of therapy, accelerating market adoption, identifying new business opportunities, and building sustainable customer relationships in the interventional market.

The position works closely with doctors, hospitals, internal cross-functional teams, and relevant stakeholders to support strategic business goals and ensure sustainable growth of the therapies. This position mainly covers the region of North Bavaria and is conducted as a remote position. Remote means that the home address is considered the primary workplace (home office). For meetings or training, the presence in a Medtronic office may occasionally be required.

For this position, there is an institution-related vaccination requirement. Therefore, full measles vaccination is a prerequisite for filling the open position.

Responsibilities include:

• Commercial growth and market development of the ablation portfolio (with a focus on Bone Ablation and Soft Tissue Ablation therapies)
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with medical professionals, clinics, and relevant stakeholders
• Advising, training, and supporting medical users in clinical practice
• Implementing strategic growth and account plans in the sales region
• Analyzing market trends, competitive activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities
• Organizing and supporting workshops, continuing education, conferences, and medical training events
• Working closely with sales, marketing, clinical, and leadership teams within the DACH organization

Required knowledge and experience:

• Completed medical training or completed studies in medical technology, medicine, business administration, or comparable qualification with interest in sales
• First professional experience in the medical field or in the medical device sales or interventional therapy area would be desirable
• Proactiveness, entrepreneurial mindset, and independent working style in a dynamic environment
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills as well as strong customer orientation
• Fluent German and English
• High willingness to travel within the region
