Job Description

Join a team that plays a critical role in supporting Trust Income Operations, with a focus on Federal Income and Miscellaneous Income processing. Our team works closely with depositories, financial institutions, and internal business partners to ensure income transactions are accurately received, reconciled, and applied. We are a collaborative group that values analytical thinking, attention to detail, and exceptional client service. What You'll Do As a Custody Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate processing and reconciliation of income-related financial transactions. You will investigate discrepancies, resolve exceptions, and partner with a variety of internal teams to maintain the integrity of client accounts and operational processes. Key responsibilities include: Reconcile and balance income transactions associated with federal income and physical securities.

Process and apply income payments received through ACH and wire transactions.

Research and resolve cash and asset exceptions.

Review transaction activity, identify discrepancies, and take appropriate corrective action.

Respond to inquiries from internal and external business partners, including account administrators, brokers, and trade representatives.

Collaborate with teams across Corporate Actions, Asset File, Trade Services, and other operational areas.

Manage and respond to requests received through shared team mailboxes.

Communicate issues, findings, and resolutions clearly and professionally.

Prioritize work effectively while meeting established service level commitments.

Basic Qualifications - Two years or more of related experience Preferred Skills/Experience - Bachelor's degree - Knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn custody operational functions, systems, procedures, various products and/or services, for assigned area(s) - High attention to detail and accuracy - Experience analyzing transaction data and identifying discrepancies - Ability to reconcile and balance financial transactions - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Exhibits analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills - Exhibits customer relation skills, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills - Understanding of regulatory and accounting principles which directly affect Wealth, Corporate, Commercial, & Institutional Banking business lines and clients - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, preferably Excel Location Expectations This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week If there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants. Pay Range: $64,855.00 - $76,300.00
