Regional Operations and Integration Manager

The Role

The Regional Operations & Integration Manager Development Program is a six-month development pathway for experienced automotive or operations leaders interested in advancing into regional support, training, and acquisition integration.

Participants will complete structured training and hands-on assignments in shop leadership, regional support, and acquisition integration. Progression is based on successfully completing each phase and demonstrating readiness for the next level.

Successful completion may lead to an Integration Manager, Regional Support Manager, or other operational leadership opportunity based on performance, readiness, available opportunities, and business needs.

What You’ll Do

• Lead shop operations and demonstrate proficiency in company standards, customer service, and team performance.
• Travel to support shops with training, staffing, or operational needs.
• Assess performance gaps and provide hands-on coaching and follow-up.
• Support acquisition preparation, takeover execution, and post-acquisition stabilization.
• Train teams on policies, procedures, inventory, cash handling, and point-of-sale systems.
• Assist with shop setup, systems conversion, employee onboarding, and KPI tracking.
• Identify and develop high-performing employees for future leadership roles.
• Coordinate with Operations, Training, HR, IT, Facilities, Marketing, and other partners.
• Track action items, communicate progress, and escalate risks or unresolved needs.

Program Progression

• Phase 1 – Shop Operations and Leadership | Months 1–2: Learn Strickland Brothers’ operations, systems, policies, performance expectations, and customer service standards. Lead daily shop operations, coach employees, and demonstrate consistent execution.
• Phase 2 – Market Support and Triage | Months 3–4: Support multiple shop locations, assess operational needs, train teams, address performance gaps, and help stabilize shop operations.
• Phase 3 – Acquisition Integration | Months 5-6: Participate in acquisition preparation and takeover execution, including shop setup, systems conversion, employee training, KPI tracking, and post-acquisition support.
• Phase 4 – Readiness Validation | Month 6: Lead key portions of an integration assignment with oversight, complete final assessments, and demonstrate readiness to independently support future acquisitions.

Program timing may be adjusted based on milestone completion, demonstrated proficiency, acquisition availability, and business needs.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of leadership experience in automotive service, retail, restaurant, or another high-volume operation
• Previous management experience or demonstrated readiness to lead a shop
• Strong coaching, training, and communication skills
• Ability to quickly assess operational challenges and implement practical solutions
• Comfortable with frequent and extended travel based on business needs
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company travel requirements

Program Completion

Completion of the program does not guarantee placement into a specific position or market. Advancement will be based on milestone completion, demonstrated readiness, available opportunities, and business needs.

Participants who require additional development may remain in shop or regional support roles while preparing for future opportunities.
