The Athletic Training Manager helps support athletic training services for high schools, colleges, universities, professional organizations, and community partners. Working closely with other Athletic Training Managers, this role helps oversee daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, project coordination, resource management, marketing efforts, and event support. The position focuses on building strong relationships with partners, supporting and developing athletic trainers, and ensuring quality care is provided across all outreach locations. Candidates should possess three to five years of experience in athletic training, healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree in Athletic Training, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience as an athletic trainer and supporting athletic training services across a variety of outreach settings, including schools, colleges, universities, professional organizations, and community programs. Experience supervising staff, conducting performance evaluations, supporting employee development, and fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth is highly desirable. Applicants must hold a current Board of Certification (BOC) credential and maintain Athletic Trainer licensure, or be eligible for licensure in the applicable state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, along with the ability to maintain all professional certifications and continuing education requirements. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to oversee daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, resource allocation, event logistics, and program coordination, while ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality athletic training services across Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist's outreach network. Experience recruiting, hiring, onboarding, mentoring, developing, and evaluating athletic training staff is preferred, along with the ability to foster teamwork, accountability, employee engagement, professional growth, and service excellence. Preferred canidates are highly organized and able to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines while maintaining a focus on quality, efficiency, and results. They should be passionate about networking, marketing initiatives, and social media engagement. The candidate will lead marketing and business development efforts for Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Athletic Training Services, driving awareness of services, increasing program visibility, and enhancing brand recognition throughout the Region. Proficiency with electronic medical records, healthcare technologies, computer applications, and data management tools is required. Experience with Epic EMR, Workbench, reporting dashboards, and data analytics tools is preferred. The ability to leverage data and reporting tools to support operational efficiency, quality outcomes, and informed decision-making is highly valued. This position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional travel associated with athletic events, outreach activities, tournaments, and community engagements. Candidates must be able to perform effectively in dynamic athletic and healthcare environments, respond to medical emergencies, and meet the physical demands of the role, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance when necessary. #J-18808-Ljbffr
