TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87102!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year of recent experience required License: NM/Compact license (must be obtained prior to start) Certifications: BLS, NIHSS, CPI preferred Must-Have: - Nurse to patient ratio of 1:6 - Epic charting experience - Experience with blood product administration, central line blood draws, chest tubes, colostomy/ileostomy management, feeding tube care, and more Description: Provide nursing care in the medical-surgical neuro unit. Work a night shift schedule. Possible options for 36 or 48 hours per week. The position is for an acute care setting with a capacity of 32 beds. Rapid response team activation is expected. Nurses will provide care to adults and geriatric patients. Floating to similar units may be required as needed based on facility needs. Compliance with isolation precautions and PPE practices is necessary. Must be comfortable with various procedures including oxygen administration, phlebotomy, and pre/post hemodialysis management. All travel personnel will undergo brief orientation on the unit.
