Interfaith Dental is a volunteer-powered nonprofit dedicated to transforming lives through compassionate oral health care. We serve communities experiencing poverty across Middle Tennessee, providing not only dental services but also education, encouragement, and hope. About the Role
We’re searching for a Registered Dental Assistant who brings energy, teamwork, and heart to patient care. You’ll play a key role in both clinical excellence and creating a welcoming experience for every patient who walks through our doors.
Job Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Chairside assisting & 4-handed dentistry
- X-rays (PAN, FMX, I/O, digital photos, CBCT)
- Sterilization and operatory setup/breakdown
- Patient education & communication
- Treatment plan reviews and scheduling support
- Maintain accurate charts and scan documents
- Impressions, temporaries, and models
- Assist front desk when needed
- Opening/closing duties and daily clinic flow support
Qualifications
What You Bring
- Active Registered Dental Assistant License
- CPR Certification
- 2+ years experience preferred — new grads welcome!
- Dentrix or dental software experience a plus
- Strong customer service, organization, and multitasking skills
- Compassion, positivity, and a passion for helping others
