Director, Loss Mitigation Strategy & Analytics

Bridgecrest Acceptance Corporation

About the Role As the Director, Loss Mitigation Strategy & Analytics at Bridgecrest, you will identify, quantify, and validate operating and strategic initiatives to drive profitability and performance. Working at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and operations, you will use data-driven insights to influence decision‑making, improve customer outcomes, and optimize asset recovery while leading a high‑impact analytics team. Responsibilities Formulate, develop, and institute business strategies that drive company profit and long‑term value. Partner closely with operations to shape strategy, run pilots, and clearly communicate results and insights. Identify, track, and forecast key drivers and transactions that impact organizational performance. Collaborate with operational leaders, business intelligence teams, and senior management to execute strategic initiatives. Leverage data to communicate research findings and recommend actionable next steps for strategic and operational improvement. Develop loss mitigation strategies that improve customer performance on vehicles or optimize speed to asset recovery and maximize wholesale market value. Lead, mentor, and develop an analytics team to deliver high‑quality insights at scale. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Analytics, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline. 5+ years of experience in financial or operational analysis. Experience leading and developing a team of analysts. Experience with A/B testing, experimental design, and economic or financial analysis. Strong SQL, Snowflake, or related programming skills and advanced Excel skills. Highly organized with strong time‑management skills. Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skill. Analytical problem‑solver with strong reporting capabilities. Detail‑oriented with pride in accuracy and rigor. Nice to have: prior experience in customer behavior analytics, Python, DBT, Sigma, or auto finance experience. Benefits Hybrid work model (minimum three days on‑site per week).
