What You ll Do
Provide emergent OB/GYN care and manage unassigned patients within a high-volume delivery serviceCollaborate with in-house anesthesia for inpatient careSupport Level III NICU cases and participate in neonatal stabilizationWork with community providers for backup in emergency situationsInvolve in family medicine residency rotations as neededEnsure high standards of patient safety and care during deliveries and obstetric emergenciesMaintain timely documentation of patient encounters and procedures
What You Need
Valid medical license in CaliforniaActive board certification or eligibility in OB/GYNMinimum of specify years experience in obstetricsStrong knowledge of obstetric emergencies, NICU procedures, and labor managementExcellent communication and teamwork skills
About the Assignment

This assignment takes place in a well-established hospital in Visalia, California, serving a diverse patient population with a high volume of deliveries (approximately 4,690 annually). The facility features a Level III NICU, in-house anesthesia coverage, and a pseudo laborist model for unassigned patient care. You'll work alongside community providers and a dedicated team committed to delivering excellent obstetric care in a supportive environment.
