Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - LifePoint Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Basic EKG interpretation.

Unit Details: - Medical/Surgical/Telemetry floor. - Adult and geriatric patient population. - Common diagnoses/treatments: Pneumonia, R/o chest pain, CHF, COPD, post-op hip, shoulder, TURP, general surgery. - Equipment: SCDs, Baxter IV pumps, GE VC150s.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - No call.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• HWC (Handle With Care)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
