Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced environment. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient status and report changes to the care team
• Perform basic EKG interpretation
• Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Document patient care activities in the electronic health record (EHR)

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Healthcare Wellness Coach (HWC) certification is a plus
• 2+ years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing
