We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Bookkeeper / Office Manager to join our Custom Metal Fabrication Shop team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee comprehensive bookkeeping functions while managing essential office operations. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for maintaining accurate financial records. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth financial and administrative functioning of our organization, supporting both day-to-day activities and long-term financial health.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries using Sage 50 accounting software.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Perform account reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy across all financial accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits, tax filings, and internal reporting purposes.
• Oversee office management tasks such as supply procurement, vendor communication, scheduling, and administrative support to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Assist with budgeting processes, financial report writing, and providing insights on financial concepts to support organizational decision-making.

Skills

• Self-Starter and Independent worker a must!
• Extensive experience with accounting software including, and other financial management tools.
• Strong knowledge of corporate accounting principles.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) for data analysis, report creation, and account analysis.
• Deep understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, debits & credits, and general ledger reconciliation.
• Ability to perform bank reconciliations and account analysis with precision.
• Excellent knowledge of accounts payable and receivable workflows.
