Group Downstream Marketing Manager, Acute

Abbott seeks an experienced strategic marketing leader for its Heart Failure division in Austin, Texas. This role involves overseeing downstream marketing strategy, team management, and commercialization efforts for the CardioMEMS portfolio serving advanced heart failure patients across the United States.
Responsibilities
- Establish marketing vision, annual objectives, strategies, and key initiatives for US Heart Failure business
- Manage high-performing team with performance assessments, coaching, and mentoring
- Lead global product launch planning including positioning, messaging, and commercialization tactics
- Develop revenue growth programs and competitive positioning through cross-functional collaboration
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and resource allocation to achieve business goals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, science, engineering, nursing, or equivalent field
- 10+ years progressive business experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry
- 3+ years demonstrated managerial or supervisory experience
- Strong clinical and competitive acumen in medical device market
- Cross-functional leadership and communication skills across marketing, sales, and clinical teams
- Budget management and resource allocation experience
