HVAC Service Manager

Job Description

A well-established, independently owned heating oil, propane, and HVAC company is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead its service operation.

This is a key leadership opportunity for an experienced HVAC professional with strong technical expertise and proven experience supervising technicians, managing customers, and keeping a busy service department operating efficiently.

Responsibilities

Lead and support HVAC field technicians and service office staff
Oversee daily scheduling of service calls and maintenance visits
Coordinate emergency HVAC replacement installations
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the service team
Assist with pricing service work and emergency replacements
Utilize and understand flat-rate pricing
Communicate professionally with customers by phone and email
Collaborate with other department managers to deliver an exceptional customer experience

Qualifications

Strong hands-on technical knowledge of HVAC systems
Experience with heating oil and propane systems
Previous experience supervising HVAC/service technicians
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to manage scheduling, priorities, and a fast-paced operation
Knowledge of service and flat-rate pricing preferred
Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities

Strong technical expertise and prior field-supervision experience are required.
