NextGen Hospitality Solutions is on the lookout for a talented Restaurant Assistant General Manager to join our vibrant team in Augusta. This full-time, on-site position offers an exceptional opportunity to work within the fast-paced restaurant industry, providing leadership and operational insights that elevate guest experiences.

In the role of Restaurant Assistant General Manager, you will assist in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service, and driving profitability. You will collaborate closely with the General Manager to implement strategic initiatives aimed at achieving operational excellence and enhancing customer satisfaction. Your contributions will be crucial in fostering a positive workplace culture and mentoring staff, while maintaining the quality and integrity of our brand.

We offer a competitive salary range of $66,000 - $76,000 annually, complemented by comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within our organization.

Responsibilities

Assist the General Manager in daily operations of the restaurant
Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance
Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations
Oversee inventory management and cost controls
Enhance customer service by addressing guest feedback
Implement marketing strategies to boost sales and engagement
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food quality and presentation
Prepare financial reports and assist in budget preparation
Ensure staff schedules align with business demands

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant management role
Strong leadership capabilities and team-building skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in financial management and inventory control
Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
Ability to handle fast-paced and high-pressure situations
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the restaurant industry
