Job Opportunity

Position: Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)

Service Areas:

• Area #1: Fremont, Castro Valley, Ashland, Cherryland, Hayward, Newark, San Leandro, San Lorenzo, Union City
• Area #2: Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, Albany, Emeryville, Piedmont

Start Date:

ASAP (Compliance takes approximately 2 weeks)

Position Details:

Shift Length: 8-hour days

Patient Ratios: 1:1 (May visit up to 6 patients per day; 27 productivity points standard)

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours weekly (Note: Guaranteed hours will not apply during the first 2 weeks, holiday weeks, or time-off weeks)

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Home Health experience
• Certifications: BLS certification required
• License: Must possess a current California license
• Transportation: Traveler must have reliable personal transportation
• Documentation: Timely communication and documentation are required; necessary documentation tools will be provided and must be returned.

Work Schedule:

• Weekends: Option to pick up patients on weekends to meet productivity standards
• On-Call Requirement: No on-call duty required
• Local Candidates: Locals are welcome to apply

Skills and Patient Care:

• Experience with various patient conditions such as cognitive disorders, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and post-operative rehabilitation.
• Competency with equipment including crutches, gait belts, walkers, and prosthetics.
