Electrical EngineerThis role is not just executing tests—it's owning the end-to-end component validation for legacy electronics and making sure the organization can keep products reliable even as parts age out or suppliers change. The role calls for leading validation under the legacy team, coordinating with in-house and external labs for EMC, vibration, and other hardware testing, and representing validation results in NPI review meetings so stakeholders can make confident release decisions. The role focuses on back-to-back validation of older vs. newer parts, following guidelines/standards along with other teams, and capturing automation opportunities using scripts matches how Legacy team like to drive continuous improvement, reduce cycle time, improve coverage, and lower lifecycle risk.Typical task breakdown:Working with suppliers and following up on deliverablesWork with leads and help with validation tasksShow ownership of the validation and impact at systems levelInteraction with team:- Participating in project discussionsNeed to work with team of 9 people in US and 13 people in India and ChinaTeam Structure:Legacy Engineering is responsible for sustainment, compliance, validation, supplier support, and obsolescence management of legacy electronic and electrical systems across Client products.
