About Salesforce for Nonprofits
We're building an enterprise dedicated to delivering Salesforce's CRM and platform solutions to the nonprofit market. We're seeking candidates with intellectual curiosity and the ability to explain complex technology simply — helping mission-driven organizations achieve more through technology.

Required Experience

• B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or related field
• 7+ years of professional work experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector or software industry
• Experience working in a fast-paced, agile company environment
• Previous sales experience preferred
• Previous Salesforce Administrator experience preferred

A Typical Day in the Life of a Salesforce SE

• Discover and analyze customer goals, mapping them to the Salesforce solution portfolio
• Earn the "technical win" through compelling demos and presentations
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs
• Research and develop technical Points of View aligned with industry knowledge
• Design innovative solutions on the Salesforce platform
• Present customized, story-driven demos tied to business value
• Build and maintain relationships with the sales team and account contacts
• Feed customer requirements back to product and engineering teams
• Participate in ongoing training and certifications
• Travel domestically up to 20%

Vital Skills

• Affinity for nonprofit and mission-driven organizations
• Ability to lead discussions with organizational leaders and individual contributors alike
• Comfort articulating technical value through discovery and demos
• Strong team-based problem solving, leadership, presentation, and collaboration skills
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
• Effective time management and prioritization in a dynamic sales environment
• Technical expertise in CRM, AI, Analytics, BI, Digital Marketing, or Community Engagement

Desired Skills

• Background in nonprofit management/operations and/or Salesforce technology
• Ability to create and deliver customer-facing software demos
• Salesforce Administrator (201) and Nonprofit Cloud Consultant certifications

The typical base salary range for this position is $113,330 - $151,550 annually There is a different range applicable to specific work locations. In California and New York, and select cities in the metropolitan areas of Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington DC, the base pay range for this role in those locations is $124,670 - $166,810 per year. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
